Fleisch – Live Session | Swindon (April 2023)
My first music video shoot, filmed with alternative rock band @FleischOfficial during a raw and energetic live session in Swindon. This project marked the beginning of my journey into music videography, capturing live performance energy with a cinematic touch.
Shot on the Sony A7 II with a 50mm f/1.8 lens and stabilized using the DJI Ronin S, the video blends smooth motion with intimate framing. Despite an early audio hiccup (Bluetooth lav + cars = lesson learned), the shoot provided invaluable hands-on experience in both filming and adapting on the fly.
Ian & Sue Blunsdon – Live Music Production | Athens, Greece (2024)
A evening of live music performed by Ian & Sue Blunsdon over at Timeless music, captured on location in Athens, Greece. This music production aimed to preserve the warmth and intimacy of the performance while presenting each song with cinematic clarity and emotional tone.
Shot using my usual kit across a three-camera setup, the video was edited and color graded in DaVinci Resolve, combining mixed grading styles for a rich, polished finish. In addition to videography, I also produced the photography and bespoke graphics to enhance and visually support each song, adding a tailored visual identity to the overall production.
Golden Horses | Heyford Countryside (August 2024)
A personal cinematography exercise shot during golden hour in the open fields of Heyford, capturing the calm, natural rhythm of free-roaming horses. This project, filmed in August 2024, was focused on practicing visual storytelling through light, movement, and natural composition.
Shot on the Sony A7 II using both the 35mm f/1.8 and 70-200mm f/4 lenses with a K&F variable ND filter, the footage explores shallow depth of field, golden tones, and slow, intentional motion to highlight the peaceful beauty of the countryside.
Wedding Film | October 2024
My first full-day wedding shoot, filmed in October 2024, capturing the energy, emotion, and spontaneity of the celebration from start to finish. This was a true run-and-gun style shoot—navigating dynamic lighting, movement, and moments to authentically document the day’s story.
Shot on my Sony A7 II with a mix of lenses and audio captured using the Rode NTG shotgun mic, this project reflects my ability to adapt, stay mobile, and capture intimate moments as they unfold naturally. A milestone in developing my wedding videography approach.
Fleisch – Music Video | Febuary 2025
My first official music video release, shot for Fleisch in February 2025. The track held deep personal meaning for the band, and the cinematography was designed to reflect that emotional weight through a moody, gothic visual style.
Filmed using my standard kit—Sony A7 II, Rode NTG shotgun mic, and a combination of lenses—this project was a dream to edit. Cut and graded in DaVinci Resolve, the final piece blends black & white and color footage to mirror the contrast in the song’s tone, delivering a haunting and atmospheric visual narrative.
Fleisch – Music Video | July2025
Following the success of Run Child Run, we reunited with industrial metal band Fleisch to take things up a notch.
Psycho is a faster, heavier track that demanded a more intense visual approach. We leaned into bold lighting setups and introduced creative visual effects in post to match the energy and chaos of the music. The result? A dark, cinematic experience that pushes our music video production even further.
